Demise of any near and dear one in a family is always one of the most challenging and difficult phase for the family members of departed soul. However, performing the last rite rituals has its own significance in the Sanatan Dharma for the peaceful onward journey of the departed soul. These last rite rituals include "Asthi Visarjan" of the mortal remains of the departed soul in the Holy Rivers Ghats and other rituals performed during a period of 13 days of demise.

However, since at times, it may not be feasible for the immediate family members to personally visit for the purpose, bookyourpandit facilitates to perform the Last Rite Rituals through dedicated pandit Jis at specific locations e.g. Prayagraj (Triveni Sangam Ghat), Haridwar (Har Ki Paudi), Garhmukteshwar (Braj Ghat) and Nashik (Panchavati Ghat).

For Asthi Visarjan, the Asthis (Ashes) of departed soul have to be sent through courier at the address of allotted Pandit Ji. The details, as may be required, for performing Asthi Visarjan and other Last Rite Rituals shall be provided by the family members at the time of booking the rituals.
