According to the Hindus culture and believes, a mere recital of this great Epic Ramayana is considered highly Auspicious and is enough effective to remove various obstacles. It is considered that the benefits of reciting this Epic are increased manifold if it is recited non-stop from starting to end without any break in between which takes time of approximately 24 hours and followed by Homas and kirtan. This recitation is read by family members or outsider a team of chanter without any break.

The chanters and listeners of the Sunderkand Path are thought to receive blessings of prosperity, good fortune, health, and wealth. This path is usually taking 2 hrs to complete followed by Hanuman Bhajans and Kirtans. The devotees invite a team of chanters at home either on Tuesday or Saturday for this path.
