Asthi Visarjan or Asthi Pravah Pooja (Bone Immersion Pooja) is one of Hindu Culture’s most important rituals in Sanatan religion. This ritual is performed at bank of holy rivers by immersing the leftover bones and ashes of the dead person after cremation into the holy rivers.

Dasham Pooja Rituals is performed on the 10th day of departed soul at bank of holy rivers. When some one dies, we obey the rules for peace of departed soul for twelve days, on 10th day that is called “DASAH” we donate our hair to become pure, by wearing new cloths and bath in pond uttering Mantra said by Brahmin (Panditji)
